Escape is an erotic romantic thriller which unfolds the love between an American Jewish girl and an Iranian based Israeli spy. It is set in the fears of possibility of world war III from a nuclearized middle east. The spy, Cyrus, is sent to rescue Layla the American from Iran when she was kidnapped during a vacation. Her release posed a great deal of blackmail to facilitate the nuclear building. In the course of an escape to Israel, Cyrus and Layla fell in a hot romance which is not just impossible but inescapable too. Layla is determined to love the spy who had caged his heart from true emotions in dedication to his mission.

I like the book because it artistically written giving a vivid picture of actions when the events are unfolding. It has a great choice of vocabulary and a nice work up and arrangement of the words creating a live imaginary world as one reads. It gives a rush of blood within the veins as you read to get the next information on how the story goes. It flows with a rhythm which gives good peaks and troughs for the reader’s expectations. It is also less predictable since it was not just a merry of events flowing but also the challenges and short falls that the characters had to go through.

The part which was not very pleasing about the book was the late introduction of one of the two main characters of the story. I feel that a reader gets more attracted to read through a book when the main characters are within the first chapter. It captivates their interests to turn more pages since one reads to follow the life of the main characters.

Therefore, I rated this book 3 out of 4 stars. I would not give it 4 stars because with the late introduction of one of the main characters of the story, the first chapters felt a turn off to read. Yet with a continuation, it became difficult to take pauses from reading because it was captivating and enchanting.

This book can be liked by those who love romance and erotic books. It gives a great deal for the fulfillment to those with interests in such areas. Again, there is a part of war where readers with such taste can enjoy. It is less of historical or drama hence not suitable for people with this types of taste.
