HEllo My Love by Evy Journey is a sensual romance novel that's about a dashing playboy with killer look any girl would go for, a highly successful company under his reigns and A simple intelligent and witty undergraduate law student who catches his eyes and later his heart.
Elise is a 23 year old law student who is adamant at her own views about life and has a flare for intelligent and soulful argument about criminal cases and dare to say striking and stubborn as well? She has zero interest in the friendship a man who works with her father seems to be offering her.Having access to family dinners in her parents place didn't score a thing for Greg when it came to getting Elise's attention because she clearly didn't even notice him all the whole time or was really really good at ignoring him even though he tried a lot at getting her attention .with her bright eyes and assertive argument he couldn't help but feel helpless where she was concerned , non of his conquests as a playboy had prepared him for the courage it'll take to get Elise.
The plot of hello my love is quite refreshing and daring,the lines in the story were quite unpredictable it had me at the edge of my seat at some point early in the story ,I couldn't think of what the characters would do next and that held the suspense of the story.the theme of the story borders around genuine physical chemistry, heartbreak,dissapointment,regrets and second chances as well as family, crime investigations,a touch of architecture and yes true love.
Enjoyed is an understatement for how well I perceived the interplay between characters in love in this story,they displayed a complete blend of complements, the male was classy ,high society,experienced and fulfilled sexually, while the female character was a rich blend of intelligent purposeful ,witty,and ignorant charm that complemented each other soo well , I could imagine them working out in real life.
The timing of the story even though it boarders around suspenseful is about drawn way too far apart, around when the characters got to meet again after making love for the first time is a bit unrealistic considering what the explanations were ,and also her reaction on seeing him after quite a long time was not realistic either. Following also after their makeup the story plunges into a series of criminal investigations that snapped me out of my romantic perceptions of the book that was not in the best way ,seeing that the main theme of the book is romance and afterwards the story didn't quite get back to a romantic theme anymore it rather ended on a plain note rather than on a climax .
This was an amazing read and I give this a 3 out of 4 stars for someone who has a keen eye for romance with a touch of burning sensational and justifiable chemistry , this is the book for you.
