At first, seeing the title of the book: "who told you that you are naked" drew my attention to the book. The writer William E. Combs unveiled so much foundational scriptural truth, that so many believers today seem to avoid. The writer took us to the very beginning of man, the very beginning of every one of us.

Just as the writer said in the book, we see that man was born into sin after Adam and eve ate the fruit and was sent out of the garden. Man was taken away from the very presence of God. The very presence that gave everlasting life to man.

When God made man and placed him in the garden, he did that so he could have fellowship with man. And we also saw that he breathed into man. The spirit of God that was inside man made him perfect, the spirit had a knowledge that was greater than the knowledge of good and evil, and when man ate of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil, man began to see that he was naked and had to cover himself. But it was the spirit of God in them that covered their nakedness, because the glory of God was all over them.

This book also points out to the "who" that tells us that we have sinned, and that person is the devil. The author of the book aims at getting back that glory for man by having faith. The book also points out that a strong relationship with God will stop us from sin, because if eve had a personal relationship with God, she would have understood what the commandment God gave really meant and would have not been deceived

What I really like about this book is the way the author so explained every event that happened in the garden of eden, for the readers to have a clear picture of the story. I also love the fact that the author was not only writing the stories but also giving scriptural references.

The only thing I do not agree with in this book, is the fact that the writer said that eve was at the other end of the garden when she was deceived by the serpent, and later went to give her husband. Whereas the bible makes us to understand that in Genesis 3:6, that she gave also unto her husband that was with her. Meaning that Adam was there all the while the serpent was deceiving eve and that is why it was said that eve was deceived, but Adam disobeyed God.

I am rating this book 3 out of 4 stars, because the book is good in relating to us the mysteries of the garden and of man, but might not be so accurate consigning the stories in the garden. I recommend this book for everyone, as it is very important for us to know the very beginning of our existence and how sin came in place.
