My trip to Adele is a fictional story written by co-authors A.I Alysaar and R.I.Alysaar. The story revolves around an Adele concert held in Verona which becomes the focus for three people, an unhappy married couple, a divorced mother and a devoted lover from three different countries and cultures. This is the story of three different people. All these characters are, in a way, at certain crossroads in their lives.

First up is Elias, a Moroccan man living in Rome. He discovers that a black magic spell was cast upon him but starts to doubt whether it was the real cause of the break-up between him and his long-lost love Malika. He decides to search for her in the shadows of Marrakesh after eight years of separation.

Nadia, a single mother from Jordan, is battling her ex-husband in the courts and doing all she can to secure freedom for herself and her only son. Her dream is to take her son to see his idol, Adele, live.

Finally, Yaser, a married man living in Las Vegas, realizes that his marriage is crawling all over him like a slow, painful death, so he starts to rebel against his wife. While faith initially brought them together, it is now causing them to drift apart. These three characters are on a journey to break free of everything that has haunted them, learning harsh truths about fate, religion, courage, desire and guilt along the way.

The novel is such humorous and flavored with stanzas of Adele's songs which could match the situation and feeling of the characters at each and every end of a chapter and complements the message of the chapter perfectly. The book is well edited except for a few spelling errors. However this did not detract the story line of this novel. It is therefore very easy for me to rate this book 4 out of 4 stars as it is also an easy read.

My Trip to Adele by A.I. Alyaseer and R.I. Alyaseer was an interesting and engaging read. It had a lot to it and kept me turning the pages, I couldn't stop reading it as the struggles of the characters attracted me. It gave me quite a bit to think about and learn about. I would recommend this book for teenagers, those who like reading and love literatures, Adele’s fans will definitely love the book also people who are resisting abuse and those who have fought and won the battle against emotional tyranny and abuse in marriages.
