In Heaven And Earth by Arturo Riojas,we saw four individuals who are of different caliber ie background who had to come together and work as a team to save earth's population .They are brought together under mystery circumstances and break the law in an effort to right a massive wrong .They are approached by three extraterrestrials that may hold the key in their success. The aliens offer help, but this support comes at a price .Can these two species work together to ensure their survival or will it fail.

This book tells us more about study of human population .we are watched and our actions are brought into questions .The aliens watch humans from beginning to present day. The Riojas did made sure that the book was unbiased as observed throught his book. He incorporated many events including area 51 and the Tuskegee medical experiments into Heaven and Earth. The mashup of facts and science fiction was expertly done.

Many conspiracy theories were also touched on throughout the book .The characters mention the role that extraterrestrials played throughout earth's history from their involvement with the Mayans to their presence of Roswell .The author also includes the theory that the government has cures for multiple disease, but instead curing the disease they treat it to make more money .when writing about theories i generally find the book either be too insane or too childish, but this was a great medium.

I thought the facts on cadmium poising at the end of each chapter would take away from the story, however the exact opposite was true Riojas states in the introduction the reader may chose to overlook the facts, but i would discourage that .The fact allow the reader to understand the story better and relate the only to the human characters but also to the aliens.

There is nothing that i would change in heaven and earth .I did not notice any grammatical or spelling mistakes while reading the book .This book is one that can stand the test of time .I believe that at an early time this book would have being banned due to some of the content .The way that the Author present the material really makes the reader think .If a reader is looking for a great read that makes them question society, this is the book for them .I would recommend that everyone reads this book .I rate this book 3 out of 4 stars.
