Escape (2017) centres on the risks of having a nuclear powered Middle East, whilst blending romance and adventure. A work of fiction by Tema Merback, who writes as Belle Ami, the book is published by The Hartwood Publishing Group, LLC, Hartwood, Phoenix, Arizona. The writer weaves an electrifying, intensely romantic and informative book that depicts this current age, and depicts how vulnerable the world can be with the Middle East amassing nuclear power. The Author devotes the book to all who pursue peace in the world, whilst jogging their memory of the high stakes involved.
I found the book very entertaining because of the way one of the key characters Cyrus Hassani brings the book to life at the start, with his persona of being ruthless, a cook, and an excellent lover. His undercover work of enabling the delivery of Uranium processing technology known as Silex from Russia to Iran creates a shift in the balance of world power, making him a deadly player in the business of nuclear power that is politically charged even in the real world, with Iran being a key player. My reactions to Escape is that for a reader like me who loves to learn new languages, encountering new words like Namaz and Ka’ba made reading fascinating. Once in a while intense romance fills the air as the characters seek to fulfil their inner most desires, and the reader seeks to find the answer to the writer's question, can a spy and student find love? Drama catches on when some characters are kidnapped unveiling the underworld as the story takes shape and secrets are revealed.
I agree with the author that one can be a pawn in a deadly game and that one needs a savior during such times, but at times the savior might end up being much more than we think, as she brings the element of Stockholm syndrome, being experienced by the fiery and extremely gorgeous Layla, as she and Cyrus stay undercover during their escape. The book raises the issue of international relations between countries when nuclear becomes a subject matter.
This book opens my mind to the greater possibilities that the future awaits as technology continues to advance, while leaders quest for more power. Layla of the main characters starts to feel that time is running out as her desires build up, and her resolve becomes even greater. The rescue mission brings a lot of tension leaving the reader wondering if it will succeed. Even more dramatic is what will happen next once they escape, a pleasant surprise awaits the reader.
Escape (2017) by Belle Ami is electrifying, fascinating, full of emotional sincerity, and well thought out, as she explores the domains of nuclear power that raises the stakes in the Middle East. This is a book that will keep you on the edge of your seat and adrenaline charged. It is full of suspense and drama that makes it interesting to read from cover to cover. The books start contrasts with its end, and I leave that to the reader's own imagination. I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars because it is well written and edited, however being an avid and voracious reader I found it brief. I recommend it to both adult male and female because it is filled with thrill, romantic escapades and dangerous undertakings that will keep them glued to the book.
