Haven't read these few line about this book, especially as it relates to Detective Mara Bays and her work partner. I just can't stop reading this short work. actually I love stories about detectives, going beyond to unearth the truth. thanks for the review and hope to read in full detail

Truthfully I can't read this book. It doesn't have what am looking for in a good read.

Although I generally enjoy reading mystery novels, I'm put off by the use of offensive language and the presence of graphic scenes. However, the novel seems fast-paced and the love triangle promises interesting twists and turns. Thanks for your review!

Mystery plus romance is a nice combination.I would like to read it to know the reason behind an attempted brutal attack on Cassandra. The motive is hidden and that is the suspence.Review by Captain Photon is compelling. It's title is attractive but cover of the book does not relate with the story.Anyway I am ready to jump into this suspenceful mystry novel. Thanks for the review.

When done well, I can handle mystery + romance, and it sounds like this book is indeed written well! I’m only concerned with the violence. I have a tough time with that. Thanks for a compelling review!

I like mysteries and fast-moving crime novels, especially when the characters are well developed. I think I would love this book. Thanks for the informative review!

Homosexuality? This is a subject that does not sit well with a lot of people still. However, trying to understand rather than judge is better for everyone. Nice review.

This sounds just like the kind of book I was wanting to read next! I love detective novels that have many layers and with the love triangles, this sounds like a great read. Thanks for the awesome review.

Books describing homosexual relationships aren't the ones I would choose in the first place, but the book seems to be a real page-turner. Besides judging by what I have read on Amazon the book is pretty intense and very intriguing. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Another story about detectives at work. In review it sounded like it was good one, with well thoughtful plot, characters and great mystery. So I was inclined to read sample and can't wait to continue!

Shame Cassey! But at least she has a man for a detective to solve her case. Your review is wonderful, thank you.

I enjoy detective mysteries and this book sounds like it has a good mystery combined with interesting characters and their own unique problems. I think that the added element of an gay relationship can only make this more readable and entertaining as well. The plot sounds convincing as do the backgrounds of the character's and the police procedures. A well presented review which makes the book sound absorbing reading.

I’m not a crime fan, so I’ll have to pass on this one. I think the relationship dynamics are definitely unique.
