Typically, I'm not one for mysteries or most romance plots. However, I think the premise of this book and the fact that the murder conviction may seriously impact the characters involved intrigues me. I also appreciate the fact that it's fast-paced. Perhaps I'm too impatient with these things, but I find that many mysteries drag on too long and are generally slow to build to any kind of conflict. As far as mysteries go, I think I would enjoy this one.

Thank you for reading this book and writing your review!

The sample was definitely engaging, but, yes, the author could have used dialog tags for clarity. At first, I thought Casey was killed; it turns out she was only mauled senseless. The mystery assailant curses Casey for being a dyke during the assault, so it could be a hate crime. Or is it?

The detective role is clearly amplified. Though the relationship type is not agreeable to me. So, in this case, I will pass this one.

Congrats on this review of the book of the day.

B-Side" by Janis Jones.
This piece exposes more of the activities involved in homosexuality and lesbianism which contributes to immorality in our society.
The characters were well chosen, with sequence
What I like is the "punch line which flows along with the stanza and this enables the reader to flow with the story

I used to like mystery books while growing up. I guess I have overgrown the mysteries. I will refer it to mystery readers. Thanks for the review.

Well the novel is a good one, and for the fact dat it deals on something rarely talked about
HAVING A STAND FOR YOUR RELATIONSHIP NO MATTER HOW ABSURD IT IS TO EVERYONE
And when reading the novel a picture is already created in your mind because of the way the novel is explained...
It has a way of communicating with her audience,it is a nice novel.
Thank you for letting me review

An interesting mystery novel"B-Side" by Janis Jones, which follows Detective Mara Bays and Detective Derek Jansen, who are set to solve a a vicious assault case. The book also depicts young Lesbian Derek in relationship with the woman Mara. The plot appears to be somewhat different and unique.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

B-side by Janis Jones is a book that deals with the harsh reality that even today you can't be open about who you love because there are always someone who will disagree with it and can take it to the extreme. While there are always people around that get over looked and when the time comes to get the answers you go looking for them. I think that this book started off with not enough in the first chapter but has good bones to be a great book.

I love a good mystery novel, though the romantic triangle concerns me a bit as these stories tend to be formulaic and filled with drama for the sake of drama. But this shouldn't be a problem as long as the characters are well-written; indeed, in that case it could very well enrich the story. Thanks for the review!
