Volunteer Review: Midwinter Turns to Spring by Maria Veloso is a decent view of the story of romance for readers. It draws the attention of sensitive readers towards the story with a classical touch! I love the way the reviewer rates the book!

Thanks for the review, the soundtrack included with the book does sound very unique. I also like that the book follows two storylines, one in the present and one through a journal.

It's nice to see how important art and culture are emphasized throughout this book. I'm glad the writing style made you enjoy this book. I'm not really much of a romance reader so I won't be reading this. But thanks for a great review!

I find the premise and the contents of this book very unique, and the addition of the CD containing the soundtrack just about sealed my decision to read it. Thanks for the review!

Midwinter Turns to Spring by Maria Veloso is a romance novel. Romance and suspence seems like going to rock together. Sounds very interesting. Congratulations on #botd.

I'm not much interested in romance novels and hence I'm not into this book. But I enjoyed reading your review. The way you explained why you liked the book and the writing style shows that you enjoyed reading the book thoroughly. I wish I could write amazing reviews like you.

When artists are involved in a romantic relationship, it's usually beautiful. I'd love to see how this plays out completely in this book.

It seems like a wonderful novel of romance, especially when the Spanish art and Flamenco culture steps into the story. Plus, there is music too. I will keep it in mind for recommendations. Promising review. Thank you!

This book sounds like a rich mix of art and culture, with a sufficient sprinkling of romance. May be worth a try.

How can you estimate the correctness of a book written in a language that you do not master?
I understand that music is important in the novel, that there are two cultures present and that Flamengo, the dance, has some role to play.
I probably have to read another review to understand better. Sorry.
I had difficulty understanding parts of their review but ultimately was able to decipher it enough to understand what they were trying to get across.

I have read this book and if you like romance and happy endings this book is for you. I agree that the authors ability to portray characters and her poetic writing were excellent.
