I read this for a volunteer review and loved it. It’s a great series for children who like adventures and it fosters a love of animals. Thanks for your review

a cat detective sounds fun for both children and the young at heart. and though including more of the culture and places in Sri Lanka would be nice, i still like that we'll get to know even just a little bit of a new country. this is the 3rd book i got from the series and i'm looking forward to have the rest. good job on the review!

It's a great and educative book for young readers. Plus they get to learn about Sri Lanka and the importance of working together. Entertaining as Inca and company do some detective work while on vacation to find the stolen sword and coins. The title as well is relatable.

I read this book a few months ago and I agree with the reviewer that it is a good book for younger children. Inca is an interesting character and it is unique that the book is written like a diary. Overall I think it's a nice story with a good message about teamwork and inclusion.

Great review. I was surprised when I read that they went to Sri Lanka on vacation. I have been there so was expecting lots of descriptions about the country, but from your review, this is lacking. Oh well, still a great book for youngsters.

Sounds like the story is just as fun as the first installment in the series. I have to wonder though, did the author fix the issues that kept drawing me out of that book in this one?
"Always do your absolute best in all that you do. Especially when you don't want to."
"If you cannot be proud of the job you did when you are done, you wasted your time."

An interesting adventure book for young children. I think animal lovers will enjoy Inca's adventures.

First of all, let this be a warning that in the succeeding scenes, care should be taken that no animal is harmed while the story is developing, or else, the Animal Welfare Act would weigh hard against any violator. (lol) I am fascinated with the development of the plot. The animals taking on human traits are well entrenched in their roles. Thanks for sharing the review.

As soon as I saw that this was the book of the day, I got very excited. The book is really an awesome one. Like I pointed out in my review of it, I like the fact that the animals were not verbal as the owners could read their expressions, but they could converse with themselves.

The storyline also is a captivating one, adults can have fun with it too..

Beautiful review outlined here, thank you..

This book sounds very fun. I'll have to see when I go back to Iowa for Christmas if my nephews would like me to read it to them.

This is children's detective and adventurous book. This book not only enhances the brain functions of the children but it also teaches about good team work among colleagues just as little as they are. It's fun and quite interesting to read this book till to the end. Good book for that age bracket between 7 and 10.

I can't wait to read the other books in the series with my five year old nephew. Inca and company have such adventures that really appeal to young kids. Animal and detective stories never got do charming. There's so much to learn without feeling overwhelmed..
