Though I don't like the cover of the book but I think that the message educates us on the issues of politics and culture which I admire the most. The story line was good though some point in time I became confuse as it looks like a poem. But in all I like it but next time if the author could have a great cover i would appreciate it much.

"Raquel Says (Something Entirely Unexpected)" hammers on the social ill of trying to alienate a group of people, even if they are of the same race, just because they lack one thing or another. This social ill fails to recognise the blessings of unity in diversity.

I have read one of the author's books, 'Gates To Tangier'. His style of writing excites deep emotion and challenges people's thought. " Raquel Says", with its deep mystical qualities, will do even more..

This seems like a unique type of book. It's nice that the author tried to tie in his Moroccan roots. Not sure if this is one is for me, but for those who do want learn about Israel's politics and society, it seems like a good one. Too bad about the author seemingly carrying "his fight against the system too far." But, I'm glad you enjoyed the book!

Raquel Says (Something Entirely Unexpected)" by Mois Benarroch is an international romance and fantasy story with a twist into the VR world by a poetic author. A 4 out of 4 stars book!

I reviewed one of Mois Benarroch's novel entitled "The Expelled" and i agree with you that he's been playing his role too much as an activist, and i also agree that he's very passionate. I'm curious about his other books like this one. Thank you for the detailed review Chrys. Will read this in the future maybe after some time have passed. My head still aches at The Expelled. :D

I think people who love to read just really really want other people to love to read too. The best way to do that is to make helpful suggestions. I know it almost physically pains me to hear that someone doesn't like to read. If only they knew what I know! They have to know!

Latest Review: "Roadmap to the End of Days" by Daniel Friedmann

Nice review! However, I wonder why the reviewer has rated this book as 4 out 4 despite the monotonous use of word "I" and "My". Of which he claimed that those setbacks were compensated by the passion and good flow of the narrative. Should an attractive narrative to the reader, have the passion and good flow? If the answer is Yes, then, I advice that the reviewer could never have compensated the author's error with passion and good flower as a result, this can reduce the rating from 4 out of 4 to something else.

I also think that, the reviewer overlooked another part of the book which is based on love affairs. Particularly when the author claimed that, he wanted to die at the age of forty as may died at that age or around, which actually drawn my attention. But, finally, he declared that the reason of all what he claimed after his life, was that, he loved and wanted to live closely with a female his character (his mother and Sister) which was not possible. After realizing that, he changed his mind and now he does not want to die.

I like the real person that characterized in the story. I like knowing other culture of the other country especially the culture and politics side of Israel. Because my mom use to worked there before and she tell me about Israel. And it really mention in the book about what you expect when you go to israel. Not every one like the same genre some like romance, some fantacy, some thriller etc. But is not hard to do you try something new to you. Like reading this book that gives you imaginary things that it tells.
