I read this book and loved it. Definitely a 4-star book. The next story in the series is "Adrift" and it's just as good. :D

I was not drawn to the book's title and cover, but your review and analysis has piqued my interest. The mystical and historical aspects you described have me wondering what mysteries lie out in the woods.

Thank you for your perceptive review.
