I liked the way you described the way Kempfer found peace. Many times, people who are in pain will use humor as a defense mechanism to cover up that pain. I would be interested to read Kempfer's inspiring story. Thanks for the recommendation.

This shows how especially single parents can have a dilemma in balancing healthy relationships between their partner and their children.
I appreciate that this concern is also introduced in the book. Thank you for the insightful review.
