I'm just starting this book and I'm really expectant. The first book in the series was amazing, I hope it only gets better.
I enjoyed this review too.
Live and let live, baby.

I'm curious to know why you don't really enjoy the author.

Yes it's more action packed than the first one.

book_fanatic_ wrote: 14 Aug 2020, 10:29 Nice review. This book is on my to-read list. Is this a stand alone novel, or do I need to read the first book too?
It's not a stand alone novel. The author made the entire books in the series to be chronological

I hope you enjoyed the first one. Trust me the second exceeded expectations.

It just wasn't my writing style. Too disjointed. It didn't all come together the way I wanted it to.
