Nice review. I thought the theme of friendship was well explored in the book, though the plot was a bit at plot was a bit slow.

I love a good character-driven novel. Learning about the relationship between the characters is always special and unique. However, I do love fast-paced novels that keep me on the edge of my seat, and this doesn't seem like one of them... Thank you for your detailed and insightful review! Probably not my style, so seems like I'm far from the targeted audience. I appreciate its theme of friendship and thanks for your great review!

I like it when you said about camaraderie. I agree, it uses fly-fishing as a metaphor for real life endeavors. Thanks for your insightful review.

I am half-way through reading this book and the review you have given is very accurate. No man is an island, we all need each other is the lesson I have gotten thus far.

It is fascinating to find that the women enjoyed a sport peculiar to men. Thanks for your beautiful review and recommendation.

My favourite character in the book was Amanda, thus I was really sad when she died.

In addition to exposing me to the sport of fly fishing, this book also broadens my understanding of the beneficial effects of friendship. I appreciate your entertaining review.
