I might be too old for this novel, but the concept of the initial mystery and its development is intriguing. It's amazing that such a young writer achieved so much. Thank you for your great review!

The title alone makes me think of Ender's Game and Lord of the Flies.
The beginning of the plot reminds me of The Maze Runner and the House of Stairs.
I read them a decade ago, and I loved them.
They aged well with me, so I will surely give this book a try!
