Big pharma has a lot to answer for. Humanity has to learn to be more humane and less greedy. Cancer is already a huge torment; an expensive treatment multiplies the burden on both the sick one and their carer. I hope the human race will produce more Mirkos and Sylvies.

The book is very factual and instructive. Although large companies have seemingly inexhaustible resources, I believe that the final victory will still be on the side of ordinary people and common sense, not greed.
