Thank you for your wonderful comment, Chiamaka.Chiamaka_Glory wrote: ↑13 Mar 2023, 14:41 Terms of Service" by Craig W. Stanfill seems like a book I would love to read. This is because I'm in love with books that talk about AI and other things related to science. Nice review.

This is a common situation, no matter the time period. It sounds like this book presents an interesting futuristic and sterile world. I wonder what is being celebrated on purple day?Hazel Mae Bagarinao wrote: ↑05 Mar 2023, 19:10 However, I felt sorry for Kim's complicated situation. She was externally successful but internally broken. She considered her life sterile, barren, joyless, and lonely.
Thank you for your thoughtful review!

Thank you so much, Donna, for your beautiful comment. I agree, not even Kim just experiences this extreme feeling, most of us do. It was a celebration of wearing purple clothes, eating purple food, and everything in purple with many fun things.MsH2k wrote: ↑13 Mar 2023, 19:52This is a common situation, no matter the period. I agree the panglobal terminology helped create a suppressive environment in Kim's world, and I found it chilling, especially the idea of "selfist." Thanks for an excellent review! For instance, the author used some words such as "selfist," "oneday," and "twoday" for days, "innies" and "outies," and generic names of companies (a food company, a housing company, etc.), which in the sense gave me different reading vibes.

Thank you, Chobit. I like the extended name, "Patience".ChobitPatience wrote: ↑14 Mar 2023, 04:23 I loved the uniqueness of this book. However, the sexuality of the characters was so confusing...even though that was the concept of the book. I still enjoyed everything else. Thanks for your insight...spot on.
