Yes that is very true! It's a fascinating story. Thanks so much for your lovely comments, and for stopping by, Hazel 😊

I have not read any of the books in this series, but I appreciate the world Tysz has developed. It sounds like the characters and setting have been introduced well, and I enjoyed your descriptions in this excellent review!

Thank you for your well-summarized and captivating review. I have read the sample but did not enjoy it much because of the many characters. I am glad you enjoyed the book a lot.

I agree with you about finding the book slow at the beginning, Catalina. I'm not very keen on reading medieval fantasy books, but I still wanted to give it a try. Unfortunately, it was not for me. I'm glad you liked it, though! Thanks for the wonderful review!

That's fair enough! It took a while for the story to start so I don't think I would have liked the sample on its own as much either. Thanks so much for your lovely comments, and for stopping by Nisha 🙂

That's fair enough, Smrithi, it is definitely not for everyone! I hadn't read fantasy in a while so it took me back to my younger days of reading this genre. Thanks so much for your comments and for stopping by 🙂

The author has mastered his work in building a world that was able to impress us immediately. The number of characters and the overlapping of events may be disturbing, but I feel from your review that the book is well organized. This is a distinguished review. Catalina👏
