Hi there, Cara :)
I see you got to read the sequels of Project Tau. I'm happy for you! You seem to have loved it as much as book one, and it only makes me want to read this series even more. I'm glad to read that this sequel is not disappointing and that the author maintained the same excitement and humor.
As always, keep up the good work!

Rob, I don't think anyone who enjoys science fiction and fantasy would not enjoy this series! I'm so glad you're adding it to your reading list, I think this author deserves all the love and support she can get based on her talent. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving me a comment! Until next time...

Jude Austin effortlessly maintains the same excitement and suspense in this second book as her first. Take a shower and eat food, because once you start reading, you might as well have gorilla tape on your chair. Something I love about this writer is how she manages to inject timely humor into the narrative. The dialogue had me in stitches. Tau, who has never been outside the laboratory and lacks most life experience and knowledge, has a convincing personality. At one point, when Dan is observed to be viewing "adult materials," Tau wonders why, if Dan wants to look at unclothed humans, he does not just look in a mirror!
 That's hilarious. And so is your comment about gorilla tape. I really enjoyed your reflection on the separate paths that Tau and Kata took. Sometimes we need to go our own way to learn what we need.
Great review!

Maria, I found the mirror comment super funny too! I always wonder where these authors pull these gems from?! How does one simply think like a clone, to create a character!? That's a great point you make about needing to go our own ways! Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving me a thoughtful comment! Until next time...

I read this novel and I liked it. Project Tau was brutal in its depiction of abuse and manipulation, Homecoming is more subtle, depicting different types of abuse and manipulation. Both novels offer food for thought. Thank you for your great review!

Anais, I almost missed your comment! Yes, I love this series. I just finished the last book in the series (review pending), and I'm kind of sad because I want to read the next one...now! Thanks again for stopping by and always supporting me with a kind comment! Until next time...

That's awesome! Do you know how many books the author plans on writing in this series? :) I'm eager to read your third review then!

You are so right, that first book in this series was brutal! I liked that the author addressed the expected trauma in the next book - it would have felt unrealistic otherwise. Have you read through all three books?! Thanks as always for taking the time to read my reviews and comment! Until next time...

I know that the third book of the series was published because I saw the official review here on OBC but I still have to read it. I plan to do that.

I finished the third book, and since you've enjoyed the first two, it is absolutely worth reading! It is twice as long but opens up the entire "Five Worlds" and is just as good! Happy reading!

I love a good book series. Nothing better than seeing my favorite characters live on in other books. The drama and excitement continues. I love the fantasy of the book. It made me really delve deep into my imaginations.

This is certainly a really good one to dive into! Series are the gift that just keeps giving, so long as the next book is ready, of course! Thanks for stopping by and leaving me a comment, appreciate you!

The two unlikely friends were now on the run, considered fugitives, and sought after by bounty hunters from every planet. They were considered mass murderers and non-persons (Kata, because GenTech fabricated his death after abducting him, and Tau, because he was merely property, a human clone).

I didn’t have the opportunity to delve into Project Tau, but I’ve heard that it promises an engaging and captivating experience. This next installment in the series has also piqued my interest with its intriguing concepts and thrilling narrative. I look forward to the chance to read and review these works in the future. Great review as always Cara!
