This sounds like a fascinating and thought-provoking read! The dystopian setting and the dynamic between Nick and Beatrice seem especially intriguing. I’m curious to see how the book explores the consequences of such a society and the themes of gender and control. Thanks for the review!

The book may have little to no contemporary profanity, but the term 'mankey' sounds slur-ish. The premise also feels like a gender-reversed The Handmaid's Tale.

The way both Nick and Beatrice navigated the harsh rules and questioned the system made me think hard about whether reversing roles really solves the problem of oppression. thank you for the insightful review.
