I think Border Post 99 is very informative. I like the message embedded in this war narrative. I have read and reviewed the same book, but, I also enjoyed this perspective...it is well-written.

Indeed. A very informative book. I loved these two characters. Regarding the message conveyed here, as the author said "there is hope" summarizes it. I'm glad you enjoyed my perspective. :)

I've also had a go at this book and I agree with your rating. As a former soldier I wish wars would be like hat these 2 soldiers. I enjoyed reading your review.

I have hope there'll come a time when wars won't exist anymore. Thanks juliusotinyo for stopping by.

Interesting review. Though its not my kind of book, I truly enjoyed reading your review.
What is the most special thing I did today- I was MYSELF. Happy and in love and unapologetically myself.

It sounds like this novel proves the point that we are more alike than we are different. It is particularly interesting given that Pakistan declared independence from India and thus the two nations have shared roots.
Interested in books that help one's spirit move beyond the ordinary.

I read your review, got engrossed in it, and foolish enough to expect you will continue until the end. You know better. That is, of course, spoiling everyone's reading pleasure. Thank you, great review. :tiphat:

Great review! It's refreshing to know that there's a war story out there that is about "humanity and hope". The relationship between the two men sounds electric. I'll have to give this book a read.
