Thank you, Cotwani. I think so, too.

This sounds like a wonderful adventure story. I like how you wrote the review - very concise yet it keeps us guessing as to what will happen in the book.
Thanks again!

My family is my treasure so this one hits a mark indeed. Thank you so much for your kind words.
Just to add, the name sounded quirky to me, too, and was a poignant yet refreshing reminder of a monicker we used to have for a popular literary figure in the official publication I belonged to during my military cadet days.

As to family stories, I prefer them to have happier endings.

Thanks a lot again for sharing your thoughts and your kind words.

I'm glad you specified that this is fiction and not a book for someone looking for factual historical information because at the beginning of your review I thought this was based on a true story. It is not bad that it's not-just would have been confusing if I went into it thinking it was! Thanks!
Thank you for dropping by and taking the time to share your precious viewpoints.

You are quite right, it is indeed, technically speaking, a fictional story foremostly, and the author is not really claiming it to be otherwise from what I know of. It just happened to be carefully blended with, based on, or supported by factual information learned and researched by the author through his academic and career-related work, as well as his other life experiences.

I agree with Cotwani, the book seems to be an intriguing read. Thank you for the detailed review!
No worries.

The theme may indeed have some points of contention, which the author tries to deal with, clarify and substantiate through some factual explanations and other researched information. Still, the book is technically fictional and the author has not yet claimed it to be otherwise.

Thank you as well for sharing your thoughts.

Thanks again!
It's enough for a leisurely read but definitely not lacking in interesting content and form enough to tickle the mind.

I've been trying to avoid giving out any spoiler, and I'm glad to know you think I've been successful enough at that.

Thanks a lot for your time and constructive feedback, too!

This was also one of the first books I reviewed and I found it to have more layers of complexity than I had expected. Your lovely review does it justice.

It does have fantastical touches entwined with reality-based ones. I did intend to avoid giving any spoiler, without withholding the salient things I thought I should include in my write-up. Thank you for your kind words and for sharing your thoughts and a portion of your precious time.

I did try to write about what I thought I should capture for my review audience, but still careful and trying hard not to venture in giving spoilers. The book didn't disappoint me at all, too. Thank you for dropping by and for sharing some of your precious trinkets of thoughts and time.
