After reading today’s sample pages, I came here to get more information regarding this book to see if it would be a good fit for me. It sounds like Alex has a rough childhood that leads him to find a way to live while being rejected by one set of parents after another. I’m just not all that drawn to this book at this time with drug use and sex scenes included, but your review was insightful and of great help with making up my mind.

This is an exciting techno-thriller about the life of Alex grew up in an orphanage. He becomes very adept at using the Internet and mysteriously he gains an ability to travel across the information superhighway. The people he meets on his travels sometimes influence his choices. One of those choices involves stealing from criminals and helping those less fortunate. This action-packed fantasy thriller should appeal to a wide audience.

Thanks for the insightful review.

I read this already, and loved it. Alex is such an engaging protagonist, and I was rooting for him the whole journey.

It must be pretty cool for Alex to be able to travel so quickly through the internet, but targeting criminals can be a tricky business. I had read this before and I also did not like Alex's lack of understanding consequences. It's good that this, and the negative "use of alcohol, pot, and sex" did not deter from your enjoyment! Definitely traveling to different places via the internet is a fun idea, and I'm glad you enjoyed the read! Thank you for sharing!

Thanks for the review, but I'm just not interested in this book. I DO like the Tron movies and this sounds similar, but the plot just doesn't do it for me, even if it is Robin Hood-esque.

Although sci-fi genre is not my usual cup of tea, this book presents such an interesting and unique concept! The downside might be the fact that the protagonist sounds like a shady figure, but I hope the author uses this to explore the moral aspects and give him a good character development. Thank you for this review.

Good review of the story. I also enjoyed the idea of the book but not necessarily the execution. Thanks for the review.

This sounds like an excellent way to bring the traditional teleportation and time travel ploys the the modern ages. Navigating the electronic channels feeding the Internet is an excellent premise.

I've also read and reviewed this book. I like the plot, but Alex is a hard to like character. I didn't like the way he used his powers and the way he treated women.

This is definitely a fascinating story, traveling through the web. I like how Alex is like a modern Robin Hood helping people, but the truth is stealing is stealing and that´s why he got into trouble. I´m also waiting for the next book of this trilogy.

Travelling through the space of the Internet is a nice capacity a lot of people would gladly possess to perfom their vile deeds. Nevertheless the hero decided to become the "modern Robin Hood"; still it didn"t stop him from having lots of problems. This must be an exciting book. Definitely worth reading.

It's one amazing read! I have read and reviewed this book before, and I have to say this is an exceptional read. I'm not an avid reader to tec fantasy genre, but this read stands out above others. Thank you for your review!

The ability to travel through the internet takes teenager Alex to multiple destinations and provides access to information which he uses to help those in need. He finds trouble along the way, leading to a suspenseful story.
