Just looking at the book cover and title tells me that this book must be bizarre and a bit scary. Your review mentioned that the tales told by the author were hilarious, absurd, and frightening. They pack a punch and communicate something specific. People looking for something unique and unusual may like this one.

This sounds like something I would either very much enjoy or not like at all. I'll have to check it out and see. Great review!

I've read parts of this short-story collection. Most of it is quite gruesome but entertaining. The ideas are so unique and thought-provoking.

Thanks for the wonderful review. I am happy that you enjoyed reading the book. I always like reading short stories but I have grown fond of stories where the author ties everything at the end. This is a unique one where the reader is left to reach a conclusion for some.

A collection of stories that would probably inspire a strong emotional response from its readers. Seems to be the type of book that one may either like or dislike. Thanks for the great review.

This book sounds interesting. I read a sample of this book and was put off by the second head in the first story. I didn’t really enjoy reading that story. Judging by your review the other stories sound like something I might like.

A Second, Less Capable Head" by James Hanna is not a book I would read on a bright day. I am undecided on this book. That is because weird and bizarre events are just not my strengths.

Anyways, thanks for your review. It explicitly outlines which audience best suit this book.

I started this one, and it's just not my style. However, I have no doubt that the author is brilliant. I'm glad that you enjoyed this one, as it does have a market. That market just isn't me. You are right about one thing, though. They are fascinatingly bizarre. :)

The story not only sounds hilarious but also crazy. How can someone grow an additional head?! I'd love to know it that. In that case, I'll add the book on my want to read bookshelf. Thank you for your insightful review.

I whole heartly agree, it also kind of reminds me of a book I read in middle school or highschool that had a compilation of short stories that didn't were similar, ( it was horror/ fantasy.. Mythology themed) but different.
The book also got me reading more again and even though I don't have to read the whole book at once, in the same way you would read a book that has chapters of the same story; I could easily of read each short story at it's own time if I felt like it. But I had took much interest and enjoyment to continue reading. It made me curious and eager about what I'd get to next.
I wouldn't mind reading more books like this!
