Even though this sounds like an enjoyable plot, I don't like the backdrop - where it takes place, I mean - so I'll pass on reading it. Thanks for the review, though!

Sounds like a great detective novel for fans of the genre. I like that it mixes in some other genres: historical fiction and romance. Thanks for your detailed and original review!
