I enjoy crime novels every now and then but not when the story is driven by someone being wrongly executed.

Crime and thriller novels really seem to catch my eye and this one definitely does just that. I see that a complex weave of character interaction really sets the tone. Plots that have a lot of climactic elements really drive home a sense of excirement. I know that the religious affiliation of the characters has a side of skepticism along with a thought of "how can they do this". Overall, just from the review I appreciate decent editing and use of colorful language which sets the mood. Congrats on BOTD!

This is an enthralling crime thriller novel highlighting friendship, betrayal, jealousy, lies, crime, truth and proving one's innocence. The book has a free sample on Amazon Kindle and has a detailed OnlineBookClub review that highlights the book perfectly. Congrats on the BOTD.

I love that this kind of thriller appears to be particularly psychological, and I will definitely put it on my list! You did a great job analyzing this novel.

this book has me changing my mind. Even if you believe you think you know where the story will go, you are sorely mistaken! An Imperfect Crime is filled with surprises and twists I was not expecting at all. I was very content with the writing, it was very capturing and vivid

I enjoy reading gripping crime stories and this seems to be one of them. I like that the writing style is admirable. Additionally, the inclusion of suspense, twists and turns, and unpredictable ending are some of the features I look for in a book. I will grab a copy ASAP. Congratulations on being the BOTD.

This sounds like it's just the book for me, suspense until the end which is unanticipated! Thanks for pointing out the element of the timeline to be closely checked.

Nice, I don't mind guessing ahead of time what's going on (that's half the fun in thrillers!) as long as the style is engaging. That sounds like a cool read before school craziness starts!

There is some use of crude language in certain circumstances, but I understood it to be inherent in those situations, or in some cases, it may have been used by the author to demonstrate the reality of some situations.
Profanities are sometimes necessary to make a realistic dialogue or plot because, whether we like it or not, people use them.
I love a good mystery with many subplots and I can't wait to read this one!
Thank you for your enthusiastic review!

I love books about crime, horror, with thrilling plots and lots of twists. This one seems great and very interesting. It talks about the theme of jealousy as a crime motivation, something I'm also interested in. I love complex plots, with a great character development like this. I think this book might be for me. Thanks for the informative review! Great job.
