Stories on wars and survival are quite engaging. Also, I think this book cover is amazing. Thanks for the review.

Love and war have always been at rivals against each other. A perfect story on the trials of love.

I haven't heard about the bear as a lucky charm. Fred's journey sounds remarkable. And Fred's character transition was great Congrats on BOTD!

A story about Fred, a guy who has gone through the motions in life with the help of his charm, a golden bear. This is definitely a unique storyline that I can't wait to read. Great review.

I was an avid fan of war novels. Based on the sample, I can tell the main character is fond of his grandparents and the place he lived in. It's very nostalgic to read. His journey through life seems to revolve around the bear. I wonder what other lessons I'll learn from this book. Thanks for your review.

Fred's story about war is intriguing. I love how the author tackles war and the different themes that are in the book. I wonder how Fred integrates back to society. Nice review!

I'm not into war stories so I think I'll pass. It sounds like a great book though, since it's well-written, with good character development.

Neat idea to have Bear introduced as a charm. The review feels like the story is similar to a biography, the protagonist growing up, going to war and coming back. I am not the right audience.

It sounds like a book that has a variety of themes. Fred sits at the center of the book's characterization. I wouldn't mind spending my time on such a book.
