I appreciate that Mark Gumbrell focuses on historical and philosophical reflections which he uses to enlighten his readers on empathy, fairness and kindness treatment on any species that have feelings.

After reading the reviews, I discovered that this book is based on historical, theological, and philosophical anecdotes that the author utilized to show his readers how to live a fulfilling life.
