The story centers around Galen Bray,a young man escaping the wartorn lands of the prince to inherit his deceased uncle's forge in the city of Magnum Caelum within the kingdom of Voulhire.
Despite not needing to go beyond his duties as the executor of Galens uncles estate,Rewan becomes a trusted friend and advisor to Galen, highlighting his admirable qualities.
The author also creates a successful atmosphere of mystery and suspense around the enigmatic Lord meldorath.

This is a beautiful fictional book. It tells the story of several characters at once along whom are Galen, Lord Eldus, the king of Voulhire, and Meldorath. The author did a good job building a profound new world from scratch.

This is quite an insightful and well-written review!

You have framed the essence of "We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies" so well: how the world has been built, character development, and some highly complex plotlines. What really caught my attention is the way you insisted on the deepness of the narrative-from the journey of adaptation by Galen down to the political and magical intrigues. Your mentioning the likable traits of Rowan and the themes of this book surely adds extra depth to this review. Nice to hear that the book is interesting and, at the same time, it's well-edited. This will surely stir the interest of all fantasy lovers!

I appreciate the depth with which you described the various narrative threads in We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies. Your insights into the intricate plots, especially the balance between personal and political drama, caught my attention. The contrast between Galen's journey of discovery and the political tension surrounding King Wilhelm creates an engaging dynamic that seems to be a strong foundation for the series. I’m particularly intrigued by the enigmatic character of Meldorath and how his story intertwines with the others, adding layers of suspense and mystery. Thank you for highlighting the immersive world-building and thought-provoking themes. Your review definitely makes me want to dive into the world of Voulhire!

I really enjoyed this book as an avid fantasy reader but it can be slow at parts and it is a very setup book for the rest of the series. Wouldn't recommend it as someone's first epic fantasy.

Hi @Huini Hellen, I just read your comments on the official review of “We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies” and found it a great start to a seven-book series. I agree the selfish pursuits show the evil side of so many men and it made me think about the evil pursuits of many of our politicians in the U.S. and other countries throughout the world. Power and greed is a political motivator of so many and one candidate in particular that is dead set on ending our democracy for his own selfish grasp for power. @Mrlefty0706
