I like children's books that not only have a great plot and message, but that expose them to other places and cultures. I think it reinforces the idea that we are all citizens of the earth and therefore a single community. Great review!

I love children's books! And to add a mystery to it makes it more interesting and exciting to read. The cover is attractive not only to kids but to any readers!

I love the idea that this story includes both humans and animals. I do wonder how involved the humans are in the text especially since it is from the perspective of one of the cats.

Mysteries AND cats? Plus other cute animals? And a perfect 4 stars on top of that? Count me in. I'm convinced.

The book sounds great. Unfortunately, I have to wait a few years to read it to my daughter, because I think the story is too complex to her right now. I will be reading it in the future. Thanks for your review!

I love mysteries, so I think it’s great to introduce young readers to the genre early on! I’m also a huge animal lover, so the idea of a cat detective is extra exciting. Thanks for the insightful review!

1 Kandy.

3 Anuradhapura.
4 Galle.
5 Polonnaruwa.
6 Cave Temple Dambulla.
7 Sinharaja Forest.
8 Central Highlands.

Since this is a short book, I would like to have a quick read. Congratulations on being BOTD and thanks for the free giveaway
Oh, wonderful! Thanks for sharing.

I read and reviewed another one of these books and thought it was so much fun! I love the idea of animal detectives, and I also like that there are different types of animals and breeds working together. The name Fromage is great too! Thanks for the review.

I like the book and it's very interesting especially with the way Inca includes all the small details necessary in her diary

It's very OK for children and adults who likes any book.

I reviewed number 5 in the Inca Series of Diary of a Snoopy Cat and really enjoyed it. This sounds to be of the same format and characters, but in a different locale which adds interest. Sounds like another fun adventure for Inca and the crew!

Thanks for a detailed review. I appreciate that you highlighted that this is a book for children around six to ten years old. It's seemed like a simple book with a cute premise about detectives cats to keep young readers interest while learning a little about Sri Lanka.

Sounds like a fun book for children to read and to learn a bit about another culture. Since the book does not give the full list of the world heritage sites in Sri Lanka, perhaps older children and parents would be inspired to do a little research. Younger kids would be more interested in the animals. Thanks for the review.

A cute little youth story that is perfect for getting children interested in mystery novels and world geography. Well done.
