The sexual orientation and love triangle among Detectives Mara,Derek and the young woman, Casey, who's battery they are investigating is an interesting reading. Thanks for the review.

Your review may have been good and honest, but I am surprised that there was no mention of the language used by some of "these people"/characters. Sometimes I enjoy mystery and suspense on T V, but this one, involving such violence, cursing and homosexuality, doesn't cut it with me. Is Skeezy involved at all, and is he helpful at all in solving the crime?

The story seems engaging and relevant to today's society when homophobia still exists. Since it's a fast-paced thriller novel, it'll be enjoyable for the reader.
Thanks for the review!!

I believe this is a page turner, and I will be reading this book. Who doesn't love a mystery, although an awful one.

This is a mystery novel in which Detective Bays along with Detective Jansen is determined to solve a crime. This seems to be a well-written book with well-developed characters and an interesting story world. I definitely enjoy reading a good 'who done it' mystery. Congrats on BOTD!

Very descriptive and enthralling narrative. Leaves the reader quite engrossed and absorbed even with the short chapter format. Excellent material.

A hate crime that targets the LGBTQ+ community is not a common theme in the previous books I've read. This sounds interesting to me. I'm looking forward to reading this "whoddunit" mystery crime novel.

I like the way the book is well developed and edited with few errors, but I disliked it's complexity of unclear identity of speakers. Good review

Interesting crime, mystery, love triangle story that keeps getting juicier. Mara's character sounds like she's got quite a lot to deal with as a result of her new relationship. I hope they got the perp and Mara was able to enjoy her relationship without judgement.

This seems like an intriguing mystery. I'm not really into love triangles either though the characters bring up interesting points. Especially with how much to revel about your personal life in the work place. The characters sound strong and likeable.

I would like to follow the themes of love and mystery presented by Casey, Mara, and Derek. The resolution of the mystery conclusively at the end of the novel is also something to look forward to. Great review.

This review sounds like a book that I would love to read. I especially like that one of the characters is LGBT which is not seen in many novels. The fact that this is a mystery novel makes me want to read it more to discover who committed the crime. I like that the novel is a short read which would make for a great series.

I haven't seen many mystery/romance crossovers out there where the romance was more than just a passing mention. It's interesting that this one is more fully explored. Too bad about the errors but at least they were minor enough to not deduct a star for. Great review!
