The book following the themes of crime, mystery and LGBT sounds intriguing. I am not in this so will pass it on.

B-Side by Janis Jones is a  #Mystery novel for lovers of #Crime, #Suspense, #LGBT, and #Love stories. The story revolves around a love triangle that resulted to a vicious assault. Young readers must be aware that this book has graphic scenes.

Thanks for the review.

Although the review claims that the characters are well developed, crime books are not my type. Especially when there's romance drama involved. I'll pass this one.

Thank you for your review. By reading the sample I can clearly understand why you rated it 4 out of 4 stars. Thank you for going into more details on the character development. This definitely sounds like a book I would enjoy reading; fast paced, love, thought provoking and emotionally charged. I am still curious as to why the author decided the title, I guess I will figure it out when I read it.

upon reading far along the " few pages " that were available to me of Janis Jones' B-side , it was very intriguing and exciteful the way the characters were portrayed . Jones provided insights to the emotions and specified the actions taking place but i do feel as if there should be a bit more clarification to the timeline since everything was jumbled up during the abuse of the characters . The fact this centralizes itself on different issues of the LGBT community makes the audience gain knowledge and helps the audience obtain a more open minded approach towards our community . :tiphat:

I think the author has done a wonderful job with her debut novel based on the sample and the review. From the OBCs offical review, the vivid description and dialogue seem enjoyable to read, and the narrative is beautifully paced. I look forward to her novel. Thanks

Thank you for the wonderful review! Developed characters and a compelling, page turning story are what we all want but I can see that you really felt drawn into the book and any minor issues didn't pull you from the narrative. I read the sample, and found myself definitely wanting to know more about what was going on. I would love to see more about these characters and their day to day struggles in their unique and interesting lives.

Mystery novels are my favourite. They will definitely be a page-turner. I am yet to read about the well-developed characters and their respective roles they played in making this book a well-written one. I appreciate the fact that homosexuality is not the option. Good review.

I like mysteries already, and this is one of the few times when the romance element sounds interesting enough for me to want to read the book based on that alone. I was worried that there might be an issue with the "kill your gays" trope here, so I'm relieved to see that the author is actually pursuing the complexities of homosexual relationships in the modern day with both people in the relationship still alive (albeit one is severely beaten when someone does try to murder her). I should check this one out. Thank you for the helpful review.

This seems to be interesting but I don't like to read something with a lot of violence. So I'll pass this book though it seems to be a page-turner.

After reading the sample beginning, I was hooked by the three or four main characters and the mystery of the assualt. It is nice to know the rest of the story also develops the topic of Mara' s interaction with her fellow police given her newly discovered love for her female friend.
