Re: Review by Espie -- Strong Heart by Charlie Sheldon
If you're after a story of inner courage and braving it through distress and life's challenges, this could be for you. While it may have imaginative tinges befitting its fictional genre, it also has reality-based details and well-researched facts enough for an insightful read. The author deserves the day's spot, indeed. Thank you for dropping by.

This piece is a concoction of the author's numerous years of education, study, work experience, and personal journey. The effort paid off, I believe, as the piece captured and conveyed the very same rationale as he intended to. It wasn't what I initially expected it to be, but I hope you'd read and find it as noteworthy as I did. It is that, indeed, plus more. I understand we've got varying viewpoints. If you're interested in a story of second chances and hope splashed with fictional elements and relatable realities, then this could be for you. It wasn't what I expected it to be, but I still found it worth the while. Thank you for your honesty.

I understand that we all have varying perspectives and corresponding choices. It could be tinged with imaginative and metaphorical elements befitting a fictional piece, but the author's numerous years of education, research, work experience, and personal journey are still quite gleanable in its details. It's also a story of change, possibilities, and hope in more ways than one. Thank you for your honest comments.sonya01 wrote: ↑20 Nov 2018, 14:08 Thank you, Espie, for this very detailed and thorough review. I am going to pass on this book, as it doesn't have what I am looking for, but Sarah's journey does sound very interesting and filled with symbolism. You have clearly put a lot of thought into these comments. Great review.

Some parts may seem arduous initially but were for a good reason perhaps to create the same thoughts and feelings that the characters had from their plight. It wasn't also what I initially expected it to be. I agree with the wise person who said that "patience is a virtue" because this book didn't disappoint at all, though. I hope you'd read and find this piece as worthwhile as I did. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

Exactly. I should remember the punctuation, though. Thank you.Sanyesto wrote: ↑20 Nov 2018, 14:18 This is a book about the arduous yet wonder-filled journey of a headstrong orphaned girl named Sarah Cooley, which started when she surprisingly appeared on the doorstep of her grandfather, Tom. The adventure fiction book is not for those who prefer either factual historical accounts or fantastical tales in the purest form per traditional definitions. On the other hand, it will appeal to those who are open to be enticed by a unique blend of pragmatic consciousness and imaginative mysticism.

This book isn't as wordy as my piece would have made it seem. However, it reflects how life's challenges could seem so long and arduous (though not without hope) for some if not too many of us in real life through its fictional way. Thank you for your honest comments, too.kelsiemaxwell wrote: ↑20 Nov 2018, 14:43 A young girl embarking on a quest to explore her past expands into a journey of self-discovery.
