There are some things that I completely agree with, this is a horrifying account of psychological abuse. It always amazes me that so many people fall victim to things that are so obviously out of the norm. I also thought this would be an encouraging read for people involved in toxic, narcissistic relationships, or those addicted to drugs. As human beings we are susceptible to all kinds of influences, and those that don't have a solid foundation can become victims to crazy ideas backed by people who are victims of their own I'd as well.
Articulate or well read does not fix the problem and the draw of intelligence can be a trap.
The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 :angelic-grayflying:

This book seems a little unnerving! I'm glad to hear that it has a list in the back so people can contact someone for help!
