A fantasy tale that revolves around a refugee landing in the kingdom of Voulhire is great and sounds great.Though the plot is complex and original plot and the characters in it are mysterious.Matthew casts a stronger lights on some of the major figures in the novel round which the action revolves.

The book sounds exciting full of events and various twists and turns. I like a fantasy and it will be interesting to read about Galen's adventures as he tries to find his place in a new environment and about the confrontations between the King and the Knights. And I'm also curious about that mysterious wizard guarded by such a big armada of ships and how he is related to everything. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

I am not usually much into sci-fi/fantasy books, but in current case, after reading review and sample, I find it hard to resist! The books seems delightfully suspenseful and really enjoyable and I just can't wait to find out what will happen next! Thanks for giving it free!

I thought it was a decent start to the series, if a bit too slow. It has a really interesting premise with a complex plot and many interesting characters, as you said. The inclusion of a map also added to the immersion. I really enjoyed the second book, though I have to say the third one made me give up on the series, as it becomes too formulaic. Thanks for the review!

A nice science-fiction fantasy novel "We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies" by Matthew Tysz,
which takes us to an amazing and terrifying kingdom of Voulhire, a border between physical and magical world. With a nice mix of characters with some having supernatural powers and some having human skills, the story looks appealing.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

Galen Bray is a great character. Tysz does a great job of keeping the story exciting till the end and leaving you ready to explore more of Volhire. I’m interested to see what’s next for Galen.

This book is one of the most fascinating novels I have read; it's a brilliant marriage of the physical and magical world.

This is a powerful and imaginative sci-fi fantasy novel about the kingdom of Voulhire and the amazing, detailed characters that live there. Compared to the Game of Thrones, this is an exciting story. Congratulations to the author for being chosen as BOTD. Thanks to the reviewer for your excellent review.

I always love it when at the beginning of the book there is a map that helps with the story. Game of Thrones is not my flavor but I read one of the books in this series so I understand your reference. Great job with the review.

Wow, I’ve read the first three books in the series, but hearing from your review that the author plans to set ten books (TEN?!?!) in the amazing world of Voulhire has my brain rubbing its hands with anticipation! I agree with you about the short simple sentences the author uses, but the writing style gets so much better as the books progress.

If I was in the market to read a well-written fantasy adventure, I think this would be it! I especially appreciate not only a literal map, but a visual depiction of the fantasy land. I think I could really get into this one!
