I think that AI is a really positive thing, when used correctly. :?

I still wonder the reason everybody in this book were referred to as sher, her, but the way the plot escalates, I believe it's going to be a major blockbuster. Great review, by the way!

Kim must have led a really sad life, Imagine her not knowing her birth mother and having to refer her mother as her birth giver, this is really painful and sad. Not a huge fan of AI but it will be great to learn about it. Well done Amy.

The reason for the pronouns is never really stated, but it had to be he or she since they were going for a gender neutral society. :tiphat:

I have read a lot of books with a regulated, dystopian future. Some where the characters even die on a set day! This one seems intense, but in a good way. We always want to fit in, but how much? This book sounds very creepy, and I want to read it!

This is a well-summarised review. I didn't like the pessimistic view of the future either. There was dictatorship written all over the whole concept, and it was uncomfortable to read. But I did enjoy a few aspects and scenes from the book.

I find terms of service to be a fun read that is also eye-opening. Everyone should read it if only to get a glimpse at what our future could look like

The story in this book raises important questions about the impact of such a rigidly structured society on personal freedom, creativity, and overall well-being. It explores themes of individuality, the value of choice, and the consequences of living in a highly regulated world. Such a narrative prompts us to reflect on the importance of balancing societal order with personal autonomy and the role of technology in shaping our lives.
