This sounds like a great book to read together with your child. The fact that it can appeal to an older audience is a plus in my book. Congrats on BOTD.

This children's book about bringing home baby is a great concept and struggle that many parents will deal with at some point. I enjoyed the topic and the illustrations but the writing was a bit choppy and unusual is some parts. Overall, I thought it was a great book and a wonderful review!

Lol. Sounds like a cute book. I have four girls. Two of them in the middle are twin toddlers. I think they would enjoy this book. Thank you for the review.

Brilliant review, this is an amazing children's book with beautiful illustrations. There's so much for the young ones to learn from this book, especially about friends.

Wow.. What an interesting children book. I love the way the reviewer exhaustively reviewed this book. Although it's a book for kids, I found it amusing and interesting too. I hope we all enjoy it at our first read. I also commend the author for the book cover, it's captivating too.

Well, sometimes I wonder what happens to the minds of the small animals whenever another animal gets into the farm. Having read the sample of the book, it gives me the curiosity to complete reading it.

I appreciate your explanation. It was difficult for me to tell what kind of story line this would have based on just the sample. I did enjoy the beautiful language the author used and believe sentence structure is so important in children's books. I would love to read this to my neice and nephew.

Books with animals are my favorite because they are engaging and most everyone can relate to the message somehow to their own lives. The lessons and themes included here are also for everyone - kindess, acceptance, and a sense of belonging bring happiness and security. I think we could all learn something from today's children's BOTD! Thank you for your wonderful review! :-)

I like how you had a deep connection to the whole premise of the book. I also liked that you mentioned that the book had a good balance of text versus picture ratio. Although I probably won't' pick up this book, I appreciate the author's hard work and ability to convey such an interesting take on an old idea. Thanks for the great review and summary.
Give me the courage to get through this week...or at least a big bar of chocolate :D
