I usually don’t go for sci-fi books, but I find the plot of this one quite original. And the fact that the protagonist is a teenager makes it more interesting because their decisions on what to do with such power are different from an adult’s.

You are a lot more positive about this story than I was. When I read it I immediately labelled Alex as anything but a hero. Alex is an incredibly smart and worldly aware character. I didn't view his age as something that excused his actions. Alex is a despicable character but that is what made his story intriguing for me.

Sure, we all did! That’s why I find so interesting that the main character is a teen. I’m sure he uses the power differently than an adult would.
