This sounds like a great read for children! Especially if they live adventure, mystery and animals. It’s lovely to see a book introducing different places, animals and cultures to help children learn.

I read the review of Serendipity Mystery by R.F.Kristi. It sounds like a great book for children with a different and entertaining plot and a detective company of mostly cats. This would be a great book to read with children as well. I like the fact that they go to another country on vacation, so the setting is in Sri Lanka and from there the mystery unfolds. As the story is told, the readers are learning about a country of which, perhaps, they have never heard. It also brings in some entertaining pictures to the mind of, for example, a small cat meeting a huge elephant and what that might look like. It is a good book for learning about other cultures, customs, and special places to learn about in those countries.

I loved this book also. Maybe there should have been more details about Sri Lanka, but perhaps the author didn't want to overwhelm the child with all the nuances and make it dry.

This book not only intrigues the reader to turn page after page but also teaches about other countries, cultures, and problem-solving without your young reader realizing what is happening. A definite win for parents and for students alike!

This is such a cute series. I can't wait to see if Inca and company figures out who stole those items. Great review. Sounds like a great book that all ages could enjoy.

I like that the book is written like a diary. Inca, the cat writes daily and it is easy to follow the order of things. I especially like how the visit to Sri Lanka introduces a few cultural places and animals. This can help young children learn about other countries and customs. Serendipity Mystery is a cute story in which Inca and her detective helpers work together to solve the case of the missing sword and gold coins. Therefore, I rate the book 4 out of 4 stars. The simple and colorful illustrations are nice and help the reader to visualize the characters of the story.

There isn’t much to not like about the book, except that I think the author could include a bit more culture and places in Sri Lanka. Especially, since Inca and family are on vacation, ride a train, and go sightseeing. The thing I like least about the book is that it mentions Sri Lanka has 2,000 years of culture and eight UNESCO World Heritage Sites, but what are the sites? The book only mentions one ancient site, Anuradhapura. If I could, I would rate this book 3.5 out of 4 stars, simply because I think the story could have been a bit more detailed for older children. Yet I would not rate it 3 out of 4 stars because it was close to perfect for younger children.

Children six to ten years old and who like animals and detective stories would like this book the best. This is a good book for parents to read to their children. It emphasizes friendship and working together.

Children with a good reading ability and who read more complex story plots may not like this book. It may be too simple for older children.

I like how you explained what you liked and didn't like about book. as well as the children this book would be good for. It is a good think to have our children read more about friendship and working together. This story does seem like it would be interesting to our young readers, especially if the love animals. but also because of the mystery, a lot of children like to find clues in search of a prize, they do that in video games, so they could probably appreciate it in their reading.

I enjoyed this review, as it clarified some aspects of this children's book of which I noticed less. However, I noticed a need for maybe a bit more for illustration within the first couple of diary entries for the sake of maybe snagging the attention of younger readers more effectively. The beginning seems to stretch out a bit and young readers may lose interest. Besides this, I also enjoyed the cultural revelations explored in Serendipity Mystery. I noticed a particular cultural trend of which many less travelled Americans may never notice from a simple lack of experience. Many European citizens travel within the Eurozone very easily or without Visa requirements, without excessive customs interactions between European nations. So it gets very common for Euro citizens to wander freely from nation to nation, as this children's book even alludes to. I only know this trend better from my current travels through Sweden. My trip to Sweden carried far more red tape than it would have for a European citizen.

Thanks for nice review on this children's book which can help children learn more about other countries and their customs especially Sri Lanka. It seems like author has nicely crafted animal characters like cats and dog for which children get fascinated by it.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

This is an amazing children's book that has mystery and animal detectives. The book teaches on teamwork and trust and can be found for free on Amazon Kindle. The onlinebookclub review of the book was written masterfully and I rated the book 3 out of 4 stars.

This book looks great-I enjoy the illustrations and interesting storyline. The book being written in a diary format from the perspective of the cat was a cool touch. I can't wait to see how the mystery of the Colombia museum artifacts play out.

Even as a child, I loved reading. I believe this series would have been a top pick for me with the animal’s perspective, element of mystery, and themes of friendship and teamwork. The oppprtunity to learn about different countries would be an added bonus!
