This sounds like an intriguing book with excellent character development. War and loss are not easy topics, but it seems like the author has addressed them in a gentle and easy to digest way. Thanks for the review.

Sounds interesting. I am however not too keen on war stories. Your review has me intrigued though. I am adding this to the maybe pile... Just because I so love a story that follows one from childhood! Always fun to see how the character develops.

Fred's story is a unique story on war, survival, trust, friendship, loss and Fred’s transition into social life after war. The author has done a commendable job on the character development and plot, making this book a must read. Thank you for a well-written review.

I love the fact that Feed comes from a town called Hope, and hope is overall the theme of the book. Glad to know that this isn't a typical war story. Otherwise, I wouldn't want to read it. Great job with the review.

I do not like war stories. However, that does not mean that this book is not worth reading, it is just not my preferred genre. It does sound like this book has some well-developed characters.

I’m interested to know the role the bronze bear played in Fred’s journey as he traversed his life amid war and relationships. I’m looking forward to digging into this novel because it seemed to carry so much emotions a person could hold as he faced challenges of hard life.

This review is quite eloquent and accurate. I read the sample of the book, and I really like what I've read so far. It's wholesome, without any foul language so far, which is sometimes hard to find a book without.

An enchanting tale of a guy named Fred and his good luck charm as bear is nicely presented in the book "The Bronze Bear" by Jerry A. Greenberg. The book tells about his life with significance of a lucky charm. I am very excited to read this one.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

Although this is a book about war, an area I am usually interested in, I am not drawn to it. I generally prefer war stories that do not focus on individuals but rather the bigger historical aspects of such stories. Your review shows that this story may involve some emotional responses; yikes!

It sounds like Fred and his good luck charm really did experience so much pain, loss, joy, relief, and peace before, during, and after the war. Traumas and periods of grief make it hard for anyone to reacclimatize to a civilian way of life, especially when the others around you don’t understand the true depths of the things you’ve seen and survived along the way. Thank you for your review.
