I agree, it’s not the typical story that employs an alien vs humans plot. I appreciate this comment.

This sounds like a really fascinating and thought-provoking book.

I can't imagine how any group of people could come to an agreement and choose just one thing in such important circumstances. Under such time pressures too!

I can see why this book would have had you on the edge of your seat.

Thanks for this enthusiastic review. Having read your review this sounds like a great read.

This book seems fitting for the current times, providing a look into what humans might decide if given the opportunity to rid the world of one man-made thing. The difficulty would be selecting from the many, man-made things that can cause harm and yet also be useful for preserving life, or preventing further losses. It seems a very intriguing book, but the elements of profanity, self harm and suicide are off-putting for me.

What could possibly go wrong with aliens and humans working together? Great review.

I found both the book description and your review intriguing. Aliens come to Earth to help? Out of billions of people on the Earth, only 13 are selected to represent mankind and make major decisions? Makes one go 'hmmm'. Definitely adding this one to my list of books to read. Thank you for a great review!
