Indeed, we are often mistaken in our priorities. I am a believer in eternity. I wish to spend mine in joy. May my short human life allow me to choose the right options to reach that all-important goal.

A wonderful historical, religious, and philosophical story can be found in the book "Enlightenment for the things that really matter" by Mark Gumbrell. The book discourages acquiring material things that are temporal.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

I'm not much into philosophical or religious pondering but the overall message is crucial for all of us. Our society places value on fleeting or otherwise superficial things that don't really matter. I, for once, am trying to let go of the importance society places on appearance. Great review!

As a reader, I found Enlightenment for the things that really matter to be a thought-provoking and engaging novel. The author's emphasis on kindness, empathy, and fairness is a much-needed message in today's world. I also appreciated the historical and philosophical reflections that were woven throughout the story. While I did notice a few minor grammatical errors, they did not detract from the overall quality of the novel. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a thought-provoking and enjoyable read. However, those who are sensitive to religious or spiritual themes may want to approach with caution

Empathy, kindness and fair treatment are good things to advocate. Being thankful for what you have is also great advice. I'm tired of everyone's theories of why they don't believe God exists. For me, religion is God so I'll give this one a skip. Thanks for the review.

Apparently history, philosophy and religion are important if one is to live a fulfilling life. Also what goes around comes around. I encourage everyone to read it to draw out their own personal meaning from it.

I see that this book deals with some deep personal issues. However, I believe the issue of how many children to have should be the prerogative of parents. I feel it's a thin line to walk, though.
