Just the type of book I was looking for. I am a huge mystery & crime-thriller geek. I am intrigued by the fact that the story is twisted, complex and have different timelines. I love a book with multiple chronologies. I am blown away by the idea of orchestrating a fake crime for the publicity of your business. I hope no one tries it in real life.

What a great and detailed review. Crime novels aren't always my favorite but this one sounds like a good read. Stories that keep me guessing are at the top of my list. I will have to put this on my to read list.

Nice review, Ekta Kumari.
The novel seems a unique book in crime thriller where crime igniting from jealousy and betrayal. I guess Fred G. Baker has caught the nerves of suspense loving readers. And certainly, they will find this most enthralling.

It’s a crime thriller full of mystery. I liked the concept of the book, what will jealously led to? This is the main thing I want to know. I like the fact that author make the complex events seem simple in his book. It’s a great review.

The end of the story also comes out to be very unanticipated, which is a plus for building curiosity in readers, considering this is the first book in the series and the author is working on a sequel.

Interesting! I like a good ending most of the time, though. But, a sequel? I hope it did not end with a cliffhanger. Thanks for your review.

This seems like it will be a crime thriller! I was intrigued by the premise of this book, something new and refreshing, which is hard to find in these sorts of books. I enjoy this author and was excited to be introduced to another of of his works. Great review, now I’m even more intrigued to see how these Berkeley friends evolve!
