The plot sounds a bit complicated which often happens in fantasy books. I think I'll pass on this one. Enjoyed the review though!

The book sounds exciting full of events and various twists and turns. I like a fantasy and it will be interesting to read about Galen's adventures as he tries to find his place in a new environment and about the confrontations between the King and the Knights. And I'm also curious about that mysterious wizard guarded by such a big armada of ships and how he is related to everything. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

The story demonstrates how expensive hope can be and what it means for one to finally find an opportunity to achieve something meaningful.
The price of hope and doing what it takes to achieve something meaningful are excellent themes. It seems they are well-played out in this fantasy world, and the reader can get fully involved in this storyline.

This plot seems a little complicated for me to enjoy, I like fantasy and complicated books, but not combined. I think I will pass on this one.

This review has watered my appetite to have a bite at this book. I am interested in knowing how the author justified the statement: “In the Lands of the Princes, it was death by the sword or a slow starvation.”, using characters in the book. Good Review though.

Your review is so intriguing, I really loved it. I'm not really into fantasy books but this one will be hard to pass.

I am not usually much into sci-fi/fantasy books, but in current case, after reading review and sample, I find it hard to resist! The book seems delightfully suspenseful and really enjoyable and I just can't wait to find out what will happen next! Thanks for recommending and congrats with BOTD!

I’ve always been impressed by authors who can create entirely new worlds, especially with excellent plots and exciting characters. In "We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies," Matthew Tysz presents a mythical land with a reasonably good story. Congrats to Mr. Tysz on his achievement and BOTD.

My taste for supernatural stories is almost completely gone I'm afraid. There's just not enough spark in that genre for me since the Originals.

I look forward to learning more about Galen Bray's views. I find it refreshing that a fantasy book deals with some important issues. Thank you for a great review.

I love to read fantasy reads. The story seems riveting.Cant wait to know what becomes of Galen when he moves from his land where you either starve to death or by sword to being the heir to his uncle in a better world.

Hard to put down, is an apt description for the book. I had a hard time putting down the free sample of the book! Certainly, action packed. For such a young author, he has developed his craft well.

This is an entertaining fantasy book. I had the opportunity to review it and rate it 4 out of 4 stars. I liked the way the landscapes and magic acts were described. The denouements are good but scattered enough to be curious about the next installment.

I will give this a pass I do not like the genre. I'm sure fantasy lovers will have a great time reading it, but it is just to violent for my taste.
