Like many other members of the team, Rosemary Wright has awarded 4 out of 4 stars to the book. McDowell by William H.Coles is a story in which Hiram McDowell is playing the protagonist role. This story has two parts. First part contains the success of the author and second part consists of it's fall. So she has proved this story to be written completely understandable in her review. Thanks for your great work.

Thank you for your review! This seems really interesting. I've only read a few books which play up the corrupt practices in some philanthropic foundations. I am excited to see Hiram change after he meets a particular woman.

Thanks for the thorough and insightful review. It shows that there's more to the story after Hiram's arrest, which is where the sample ended. Definitely would like to know what kind of woman could change a deceitful character.

You have an interesting perspective on the book. I found it much easier to put down. Alas. Though in the end, it has given me much to think about. I'm still puzzling over the change in his children after his legal comeuppance. It's almost as though they grew up and got their lives together as his life fell apart. What are your thoughts?

I have read and reviewed this book long time back, and it was a delightful read. It has a touch of philosophy, thanks to its characters, and it certainly is a though provoking read. Thank you for your review!

Great review. Hopefully, I read it soon. It is great to read a book focused on a character. The whole essence of the character can be obtained from the book.

Sounds like a good read without requiring action or thriller content to keep the story moving. I like the concept and I think I will give this one a chance. Thanks for the great review!

I would like to know how someone who was having it all, suddenly loses everything. The fact that the book also has a glimpse of crime has piqued my interest. Nice review!

Good review. I am glad to hear that the story speeds up a bit. I read the sample and it seemed slow. Thanks again for the review.

Thanks for the review. I found the plot intriguing. I liked the book touches on the factors like parents influence on kids. The suspense and the fascinating plot is what got me attracted to this book.
