As a medical graduate, I must say I love books written by doctors. However, I hate extreme morality portrayed usually in the protagonists on the background of a corrupt system. It doesn't really show the reality that well and it feeds into this new mainstream idea that doctors are bad and are all paid by big pharmaceutical companies ). In reality...the majority of doctors I crossed paths with in my years studying medicine are just humans, trying to do the best they can for their patients.

It sounds like pretty much the only thing I would like would be the hospital scenes and patient cases — the human side of the book, you might say. I'm just not into the thriller type of writing. I'm glad you enjoyed it, though. Thanks for the interesting review!

When I read the title, I thought it is a children's book about giants. Am surprised to find out who the giants are. Amazing! It is a perfect review.
