Thanks for the review Captain Photon. The story is a good read but I definitely agree with you I found difficulty knowing which character is speaking . I sampled a few pages of book and would at one time love to read the book to completion.

This looks like a good mystery and fans of suspense amd romance are sure to like this one. However, the plot did not quite grip me so I'll pass. But thank you very much for your thorough review.

Crime and mystery, romance and hatred. The main theme of B-side is very clear from the start which gives the readers the eagerness to know how it will turns out in the end, maybe even guessing what kind of plot twist there is. The suspect who attempted to murder Casey which later on Mara found out that he is Larry's nephew sure isn't just a mere coincidence. This part alone open out lots of branches where the story could grow further. It raises curiosity and interest among the readers, thinking what is the connection between all these revelations. This story continuously hooks up readers' attention and waking up the detective side in them. It is indeed a mystery, with unpredictable story. Think no more of any other rating for this is definity a 4 out of 4 wonderful piece of work.

The review gave me the information I need to decide if I want to read the book or not. Mystery and romance, dialogue and connectivity, a story line that can be followed, and characters that need to be there. The issues identified in the book are real-life, the characters are reflective of many similar of the same genre. I think it is difficult to score ANYTHING a 4 out of 4 stars, so that in itself is a compelling reason to read the entire book.

Thanks for the sample read. A detective novel with an intense and fast paced suspense plot is a big turn on for the readers. Also, short chapters make it easy for the readers, a big thumbs up for that! Always up for mystery based novels. Good job on the review.

I like mystery books with short chapters as this moves the story forward in a suspenseful way. However, you need to know who is speaking, especially in a mystery! Thanks for your review.

Mysteries are hit or miss for me, but this sounds like a great story with cool characters. Thanks for your review!
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

As I read the sample I also found it hard to distinguish who was speaking during some of the dialogue. I usually love a good “who-dun-it” but the constant language, especially the “f” word bothered me. I’ll pass on this one.

We need more positive LGBTQ+ representation in the mystery genre, so I think it's great that the protagonist is discovering more about her sexuality. This sounds like an interesting book, with a lot of potential drama with the dog-chase-cat-chase-mouse dynamic (if the cat and mouse were, you know, mutually interested). Thank for your review!

This book sounds like it is an edge-of-your-seat mystery. It also has a love triangle of sorts between the detectives and victim. Even though, the cover does not grab my attention. Congrats on the book of the day. Good review.

I really enjoyed the sample of this book and agree that it reads really quickly. I love that two of the prominent characters are part of the LGBTQ+ community, as this is hard to come by in serious novels. I might read this one! Thanks for an encouraging review.

I will always read any book with mystery and detectives. I have already fallen in love with B-Side because it falls in this category of the genre. Your review is enticing as well. Congratulations to the author

I read the sample of "B-Side" and you are right, it is a page-turner! I love a good mystery but I have read several in a row recently and am ready for something on the lighter side right now. I was impressed with what I read and am putting this book on my want to read list. Thanks for the very insightful review!
