The story combines art and music into a romance. Savannah is an artist, and Alfonso is a musician. They met at an art lecture and fall in love. I wonder what struggles they will go through and if they have a love that will last.

I like romance novels. This one doesn't intrigue me initially, but it has a lot of great elements. I might try it later. Thanks for the review.

Romance mixed with music and art make for a enchanting romance. I wonder how much readers can learn about flamenco dancing from this book? Interesting review. Thanks.

Thank you for the review. At first I honestly was not interested in the book as I normally am not into romance, but I love the fusion of history, music and art.

As an artist, I found this book helpful to anyone in the music or in the art industry. Emotions are involved in every piece of art and music they made like Savannah and Alfonso. It seems that their love story will end, but 26 years after seems so long and discovered under a china drawer. I'm amazed how both of them met again.

I definitely have to agree that 'Midwinter turns to Spring' by Maria Veloso appeals to a large extent of young and adult readers. Although I don't believe this is clearly portrayed in your review. The review does however, capture the elements of culture, art and deep romance that make this book so intriguing.

The storyline seems interesting. The character of Alfonso sounds fascinating. I am waiting for so long to read a good romance novel. This might be it. Congrats on BOTD!

There seems to be a lot of different component to this book and all very intriguing! Music, art, romance, are all a great pairing to make a great unique story.

From what I can follow, it sounds like a somewhat confusing storyline. Are the two main characters meeting again in different lifetimes? I also found the sample somewhat confusing, so it's not a reflection of your review at all. Though the blurb stated that the idea of music accompanying a book was unique, it really isn't. I can remember at least half a dozen children's books I had as a child myself, which did the same thing. The author has simply taken that idea and used it in an adult novel. It is disappointing that they're trying to pass it off as something new. :roll2:

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting romance novel following an art professional young woman dedicating her life to a Spanish artist. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

This book has raving reviews on Amazon. A romance about an artist/art appraiser and a flamenco guitarist. Their story comes to light when the artist's hidden journal is discovered. The ensuing love story is deep, moving and traverses music, art and culture.

What wonderful mix! And I love that it is primarily a romance novel as well. All the reviews I've read thus far regarding the book have been satisfactory and I can't wait to check it out.
