The author is able to create wonderful imagery of the land and the people in this fantasy novel of discord and magic. It's very well written.

I have read this book and all I can say is for readers to be ready as the author takes you on a fascinating journey to an equally fascinating world of dark magic and breathtaking action and suspense. Galen is a interesting lead and his character development is a wonderful surprise. I have ready many Voulhire series and this one as always did not disappoint.

This book sounds very exciting. I admire the author's skill in developing the imaginary setting as well as the characters. I'm not quite a fan of dark fantasy novels, but I always intrigued by the magical elements and the various twists and turns in it. I can't get over imagining the dancing Riva Rohavi, tho. Hopefuly I would able to read the whole series in the future. Thank you for an insightful review.

I've read this book before, and I enjoyed reading the humorous parts. For a fantasy book, it has lots of borrowed words from various cultures/languages in the real world. Overall a fun read if you don't mind cliffhangers. Unfortunately, I can't read the sequels. Congratulations on the BOTD.

The protagonist's characterization seems fabulous in this intriguing story, as Galen tries to make his fortune amid the power struggle in the kingdom. I hope Galen achieves his goal.

A young man claiming his uncle's inheritance, who lives in a different country where there is conflict as well, presents itself as an interesting fantasy book. I also like that it is well-written with vivid and believable imagery. Great review!

I began this series a few years ago but didn't finish it. I admit I really loved the plot, especially with inclusions of supernatural deities. Great review!
